LPC was honored in 2018 by Family Promise of Monmouth County with Host of the Year and Coordinators of the year recognition.
- Community Outreach Group (COG)
COG assists families in need with food, clothing, household items, and emergency funds. Among other activities , we at LPC hold food drives in support of COG’s Calico Cat Pantry of Middletown, NJ.
– Special Food Drive Activity is scheduled during certain months: For example, empty bags with instructions were distributed in our neighborhoods during September 2020. These bags, filled with donated food, were later collected and along with donated cash were delivered to the COG Calico Cat Pantry.
- LPC is an Earth Care Congregation.
Earth Care Congregations are those led by PCUSA that have committed to the “Earth Care Pledge” and accomplished a specific number of actions toward caring for God’s earth in four categories: worship, education, facilities, and outreach.
