Reverend Diane R. Ford, Pastor
Reverend Ford came to Lincroft Presbyterian Church in June 2015 from Sacramento, California, where she ministered at Grace Presbyterian Church in Sacramento for the previous six years. Diane began as their Minister of Spiritual Development and Outreach. In October 2014 she was ordained and became the co-pastor at Grace. She worked with members of the Grace Presbyterian Church to institute a program called “Farm to Every Fork” to bring a CalFresh (food stamp) booth to a local farmers’ market. Diane is also a professional musician and has led music and worship in many settings, styles and denominations. She graduated from Union Theological Seminary, New York City, with a Masters of Divinity focused on the Old Testament and a Masters of Sacred Theology focused on Historical Jesus and Christology.
John Morrison, Music Director – retired
John, now retired, served as LPC’s choir director for 28 years, but always kept things fresh and loved trying new things! John graduated from the Hartt School of Music and received a Master’s degree from Rutgers. He taught orchestra, marching band, and jazz band in Metuchen for 23 years. He plays trumpet professionally in a wide variety of venues: symphony orchestras, wedding bands, parades, churches, jazz bands, and even in the county fair! He coordinated LPC’s very successful Jazz Vespers Services, benefiting Family Promise. He also enjoys composing, playing piano, and singing.
Diane Menninger, past organist – retired
Diane Menninger, now retired, played at LPC from 1997 to 2017. She was a veteran of 2 previous positions in church music. Examined by Trinity College of Music, London, she taught piano and music theory through their program. Choral music flows through Diane’s life. She has sung with both the Shrewsbury Chorale and the Monmouth Civic Chorus, including European Concert Tours in 1990 and 1993 with venues at the Vatican (Rome) and St. Stephansdom (Vienna).
Bob Sammond, past organist
Robert Sammond has been active in the New Jersey musical scene for over 25 years as a teacher, performer, accompanist, music director and church musician . He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Butler University and MM from Mason Gross at Rutgers, both in Piano Performance. He has been on the staff of LPC from 1992 to 15 September 2019.
