Pastor - Rev. Diane Ford

Reverend Diane R. Ford, Pastor

Reverend Ford came to Lincroft Presbyterian Church in June 2015 from Sacramento, California, where she ministered at Grace Presbyterian Church in Sacramento for the previous six years. Diane began as their Minister of Spiritual Development and Outreach. In October 2014 she was ordained and became the co-pastor at Grace. She worked with members of the Grace Presbyterian Church to institute a program called “Farm to Every Fork” to bring a CalFresh (food stamp) booth to a local farmers’ market. Diane is also a professional musician and has led music and worship in many settings, styles and denominations. She graduated from Union Theological Seminary, New York City, with a Masters of Divinity focused on the Old Testament and a Masters of Sacred Theology focused on Historical Jesus and Christology.

Toby Cohen, Administrative Assistant

Toby has been invaluable to LPC in this role since 2012.

Mike Kabash, Music Director

Mike has rehearsed with our choir and played the organ and piano for worship in December, and now he is on our church staff.
He began on 19 January 2020.

Mike Kabash earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History with a Minor in Music from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland, where he also played lots of baseball.  He then earned his Masters Degree in Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University and began his career in education in the city.   Hungry to return to the garden state, Mike taught at his almamater in Rumson, followed by an eight year adventure at St. Mary School in Middletown where he built and coordinated an integrated music and performing arts program which included choirs, bands, lessons, musical theater, and more.  He was recognized in 2016 with SMS’s first Teacher of the Year award.  Mike was then graced with opportunity to teach, coordinate technology, and more at Trinity Hall.

With the desire to become more involved with music and church, Mike is delighted to have joined the Lincroft Presbyterian Church community as music director in January 2020.  Mike is a multi-instrumentalist who brings with him a love for many types of music and looks forward to a great experience in the music ministry at LPC.  Of course, after spending a while on the organ bench, for Mike there’s nothing quite like catching a wave in the North Atlantic to end the day on the right note.
